Our best work is enhanced by authentic relationships with the lovely people we work with, and the Kipp & Christensen offices are one of the strongest examples of this truth. This bright, updated legal office carves out a home for our clients in the longstanding icon that is the 257 Tower in downtown Salt Lake City.
This prominent local law firm’s move to the 257 Tower was a significant step that called for an active creative process. During this transition, our role was pivotal as we facilitated negotiations between the landlord and the tenant, leading us to forge lasting bonds with the exceptional lawyers who served as liaisons for the tenant build-out.
Upon arrival at the sixth floor the elevator lobby frames a cinematic view of the entrance to the suite, pulling guests straight into the workspace. A glass entryway, bold logo signage, and layering of relaxed elements give an accurate first impression, inviting guests to stay a while.
Our design work was spread between active work areas, like the open office space and the various conference rooms, as well as the community spaces, like the fully updated break room. Amidst laughter and finish selections, the Kipp & Christensen workspace underwent a remarkable evolution. It evolved into a collage of architectural elements that define 257 Tower along with their unique style of finishes, made complete through incorporating existing furniture and artwork.
Each room within the space perfectly frames the pairing of these distinctive elements. From selecting artwork piece by piece to accommodating the preferences of paralegals, associates, shareholders, and executives, meticulous attention to detail was paramount. Throughout the construction process and the high-quality build-out, our team remained agile and maintained transparent communication, ensuring the project's success.
